What is the difference between styling and interior design?
Styling works with your existing shell — walls, floors and fixed joinery stay unless you arrange separate trades. We focus on layout, colour, textiles, lighting and accessories. Interior design often includes spatial planning, custom cabinetry and contractor management, which we do not provide in standard packages.
If your project requires structural changes, we can recommend allied professionals but remain scoped to decorative transformation.
Do you work with renters?
Yes. Many clients rent Haussmann or modern apartments in Lyon and need reversible improvements. We prioritise freestanding furniture, removable hooks, tension rods and landlord-friendly paint choices. Your deposit and lease conditions should be shared during the discovery visit so we avoid prohibited alterations.
How long does a typical project take?
From signed proposal to final styling, most single-room projects run three to five weeks depending on product lead times. Colour-only consultations complete within one week of the site session. We provide a timeline with your proposal and flag any supplier delays promptly.
Can I keep my existing furniture?
Absolutely. We often reintegrate sofas, tables and art you already own. Our role is to edit, reposition and supplement — not replace everything by default. Items that work against scale or palette are discussed honestly with alternatives ranked by budget.
What budget should I set for products?
As a guide, living room product budgets typically start around €1,800 beyond fees; bedrooms from €900. Colour consultations may require zero product spend if you only need paint specification. Shopping lists always show EUR estimates so you can phase purchases.
Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
Fees on our pricing page are shown exclusive of VAT unless noted. Invoices from Turcagrati SARL add applicable French VAT. Product purchases from third-party retailers follow their tax treatment.
